Worship Ministry

If we had to boil down the definition of worship to one sentence it would be this:

Worship is our response to our knowledge and our experience of God.

Here at the Vineyard, we want to give lots of opportunities to do just that. Our heart is to see, train, and encourage people to worship in and through all the varying aspects of their lives. You see, worship isn't confined to singing a few songs on Sunday morning, but rather it's a way of living life. We can and should worship God at all times and in all things. We're committed to that vision and are working hard to see it applied in our lives and the lives of those around us.

Here's a link to a document that John Wimber, the founder of the Vineyard movement, created that communicates some of our values about worship and he also did some teaching on Why We Worship.

Also, here's another link to a document that lays out how to get involved in the worship community.

Please feel free to download these documents and read them over at your leisure.
