Music Academy

Each spring and fall we have an opportunity for you to grow as a musician and worshiper. The Music Academy runs for five weeks, with one class each week. The Music Academy is a great way to grow and learn as a musician and is an amazing deal, costing only $15 for all five lessons. Worship Leader Basics

At Vineyard we know that our church will only be as strong as the leaders in it. We take leadership development seriously, which is why we are offering a 4-week Worship Leader Basics course. This course takes place twice each year. Contact Asa Harting at 218-525-3462 for more information.

WorshipNext Summer Intensive

Join us for a 6 week long summer internship for future worship leaders. This is designed to provide a really well-rounded, compact, and high quality training for those interested in pursuing worship ministry. This will be a great way to train up some worship leaders for new church plants (and small groups, and student ministries, and VineyardKids). The majority of the training/equipping would take place on Wednesday afternoons into the evenings, and on Saturday mornings with a few Friday evenings thrown in there for good measure. There is strong discipleship focus with classes on the Spiritual Disciplines and worship leadership essentials like conflict resolution, organization, and even the history of worship. Previous classes and workshops have been taught by Asa, Michael, others on our staff as well as Randy McCoy, the director of WorshipNext and events coordinator for Vineyard Worship, and a special session on songwriting with Jeremy Riddle. In six weeks they will get a excellent handle on what it takes to be a worship leader, and hopefully will be ready to get out there and start doing it! Our target market are those from the ages 18 to 25. There is an application process to ensure that we are getting students that will really benefit the most from the intensive. Worship & Arts Gathering

Interested in worshiping God creatively? Never picked up a paint brush or shook a shaker? No problem! Come and explore new ways of worshiping the ultimate artist - God! We want to grow in worshiping together through several mediums of art. Poetry, dance, music, painting - you name it, this is the place for it. Bring your own instruments and art supplies or user ours! Just $2 for song packets, artfully made snacks and supplies. There will even be an arts table for kids so everyone is welcome. Please join us for an evening you won't want to miss.

Worship Conferences

Every year we offer a weekend worship conference, right around March or April. This is an opportunity to bring in one of our worship leader friends from around the US (we've had Anabeth Morgan from the Mile High Vineyard in Arvada, CO and Steve Jones and his band Autumn in Repair from Kansas City, MI) to provide a fresh, new perspective on worship. These conferences are designed to teach us how to let worship bleed into every aspect of our lives.
