Jordan Sundberg, Pastoral Assistant

Jordan has been a part of the Vineyard community for 10 years and been on staff for the last 6, taking on various roles, and landing where she is now as a Pastoral Assistant.

Jordan originally came to the Vineyard because she really loved being a part of a church where Jesus was touchable to her and to the people around her (something in the past she'd never experienced before). She remembers Jesus speaking to them, changing them and wanting to use them. She wanted to be at the Vineyard all the time (mostly she just wanted more of Jesus and experience all the growing she did when she was with him) He was giving Jordan actual tools to love people in a way that she'd always wanted to instead of just with her own attempts at "magic tricks". So, when Michael (one of our senior pastors) asked her if I she would be interested in interning, she moved across the country to jump into all of what God had for her. Since then Jordan has been up to her ears in the Vineyard community and usually has a smile on her face because of something God is doing.

For fun Jordan enjoys making "horse-hoof" smoothies, venturing in food & language & culture, conversations that cut through crust, reading and reading, creativity in all its shapes and size, and pickled okra.
