Edeanne Aiken, Pastoral Assistant

Edeanne and her husband Sammy make up the Vineyard's "Irish Connection". Back in 2009, on recommendation of their pastor, they ventured from their beloved island to Duluth for a year-long internship focused on church planting. However, the love and community at the Vineyard convinced them to stay, and in June 2011, they officially came on staff.

Edeanne oversees the Vineyard's food shelf "Fruit of the Vine", as well as taking on many other pastoral duties. Basically she loves to be a part of whatever God is up to.

For fun during the winter, she and Sammy "love to see how cold it gets". They've been known to top the hills at Spirit Mountain in temperatures as low as -15˚F! On less extreme days she enjoys cooking, finding hidden treasures in "junk shops" or sipping a hot cup of coffee whilst talking to a friend or two.
